BHlthSc., BAppSc. (Osteopathy), Osteopathic Practitioner
Liam is an Australian-trained osteopathic practitioner who has recently made the beautiful community of Sooke his new home. He holds a five-year double bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy) from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), equipping him with a strong foundation in evidence-based manual therapy and holistic patient care.
With experience treating a wide range of conditions—from acute sports injuries to chronic musculoskeletal issues—Liam has worked with diverse clients, including elite athletes, children, and seniors. His treatment approach combines soft tissue therapy, joint articulation, muscle energy techniques, exercise rehabilitation, and patient education to support recovery and long-term wellness. He also emphasizes lifestyle adjustments, stress management, and ergonomic advice to address the root causes of pain and dysfunction.
As an avid runner, Liam has pursued additional training in strength and conditioning as well as biomechanics, allowing him to provide specialized care for fellow runners dealing with persistent injuries.
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find Liam chasing waves at Sombrio Beach or exploring Vancouver Island’s hiking trails (a welcome change from Australia’s flatter landscapes!). He’s always eager to hear about hidden surf spots—feel free to share your local secrets!
